Team Bernhard driver Daniel Gregor in the ADAC GT4 Germany in Hockenheim

Place four and junior winner

With a fourth place in the last race and a simultaneous victory in the junior classification, Daniel Gregor concluded the season in the ADAC GT4 Germany at the Hockenheimring. The 17-year-old from Maikammer, Palatinate, shares the cockpit of the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS from the Avia W&S Motorsport team with starting number 75 with Finn Zulauf, but is still looked after by Team75 Motorsport from Landstuhl.

After good results in the two free practice sessions on Friday with places one and four, Daniel's 14th place in Saturday qualifying was a disappointment. However, his two fastest laps were canceled because he exceeded the track limits, otherwise he would have been right at the front. In the race, which was shortened to 50 minutes due to the late start time, Daniel fought his way up to seventh place right after the start and set the fastest lap times, but then gearbox damage slowed him down and he had to give up the race.
In Sunday's qualifying, Finn Zulauf put the Cayman in fourth place on the grid. In the race he gained a position right at the start, but then handed over to Daniel in fourth place. He was also able to finish in fourth place, which also meant victory in the junior classification at the final. In the overall junior ranking, Gregor/Zulauf took third place in the final ranking.

Daniel Gregor: “It was a strong weekend in terms of pace. On Saturday we were unlucky in the race, there was a gearbox failure. A podium would have been possible. In race two we finished fourth and took the junior victory. We did well all weekend and were able to reward ourselves with this victory. A good way to end this season.”
